London Borough of Tower Hamlets to recruit
qualified Educational Psychologists to support the completion of
statutory assessments as part of their SEND service.
This is a
project-based opportunity, ideal for experienced professionals looking for flexible, high-impact work where they can focus purely on assessment delivery.
Role Overview: As an Educational Psychologist on this project, you will:
- Conduct face-to-face statutory psychological assessments for children and young people.
- Provide high-quality psychological advice and reports in line with the SEND Code of Practice.
- Work collaboratively with schools, families, and the local authority to ensure each assessment contributes meaningfully to the child’s Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
- Complete assessments within the allocated 2-day timeframe per case.
Requirements: ✅ Qualified
Educational Psychologist ✅ Registration with the
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) ✅ Experience completing
statutory assessments for local authorities
✅ Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality written reports
✅ Willingness to undertake
face-to-face assessments within the borough
