Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist looking for your next opportunity within Adult Social Care? We are seeking a skilled practitioner to join the
ASC Moving & Handling Team in Nottingham. This is an excellent role for someone confident in complex manual handling, equipment prescription, and supporting adults to maximise independence through safe, effective intervention.
Key Responsibilities: – Complete comprehensive functional assessments for adults with a range of needs.
– Assess, prescribe, and review
moving & handling equipment, ensuring safe and effective use.
– Support and implement
single-handed care approaches where appropriate.
– Review and
reduce packages of care through clinical reasoning and strength-based practice.
– Undertake home visits and environmental assessments to promote independence and safety.
– Use professional judgement to develop intervention plans tailored to individual needs.
– Work in partnership with care providers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements: –
Degree/MSc in Occupational Therapy.

HCPC registration (or pending renewal).
– Strong experience within
Adult Social Care.
– Proven competence in prescribing moving & handling equipment and single-handed care solutions.
– Experience reviewing packages of care and implementing reduction where appropriate.
–
Liquidlogic experience preferred (but not essential).
– Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
