Contract: Locum
Pertemps is recruiting an Adult Social Worker (ASYE) on behalf of a London local authority based in Haringey.
This role is suitable for a newly qualified Social Worker who is able to complete their ASYE during the placement.
Role Overview You will deliver a high-quality statutory social work service, working with Adults (and where appropriate Children and Families), in partnership with internal and external agencies to ensure positive outcomes for service users.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake statutory social work duties in line with legislation and best practice
- Complete assessments, support planning, and reviews
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners
- Maintain accurate and timely case records
- Promote safeguarding and person-centred practice
- Social Work degree (or equivalent recognised qualification)
- Registered with Social Work England (SWE)
- Eligible to complete ASYE during the placement
- Understanding of statutory social work frameworks
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary setting
