Job Description
Please note, this is a Contract opportunity and only apply if you have the Right to Work in the UK and has relevant experience.
You will be:
- Undertaking all work required on a high-profile planning matter, and in relation to the negotiation and drafting of a Section 106 agreement under the supervision of the Planning Team Leader.
- Experience of advising at committees and member briefings on all aspects of property and regeneration law and procedures.
- Having previous track record of providing legal advice and support to senior leaders and key decision makers at the highest levels in the subject area of property and regeneration law and practice.
- Qualified solicitor, barrister or chartered legal executive or other qualified lawyer with local government experience.
- Post qualification legal practice experience in the field of property and regeneration.
- Experience of operating in politically sensitive environments and able to demonstrate a good degree of political nous.
- Familiarity with local development plans, neighbourhood plans, and supplementary planning documents.
- A Dedicated Consultant specialising in their Sector to ensure candidate satisfaction and matching you to the right role.
- A smooth compliance and payroll system.
