Temporary Accommodation Officer, Greater Manchester 
Pay rate to £25.39 per hour 
Contract role, Local Government Housing 
 
We are recruiting for an experienced Temporary Accommodation Officer in Greater Manchester 
This is a contract role, and you will need to have experience in a similar role in a Local Authority setting 

• To help the TA leased Team with joint visits and inspections.   

• Complete sign-ups, On-line Housing Benefit claims & on-line Council Tax Support claims.  

• To attend meetings with other agencies and stakeholders.  

• Contact HOST clients regarding queries with rent arrears and repairs. Contact landlords regarding repairs.   To contact HOST clients and stakeholders by phone & email regarding other queries       

• Previous experience working within a housing, tenancy, resettlement or support related service 

• Experience of supporting vulnerable people and enabling such to move towards independent living 

• Experience of conducting interviews with customers including carrying out home visits, telephone contact, and letter writing, ensuring appropriate tailor-made solutions are offered in the best interest of the customer in accordance with legislation
