Job Description

Teaching Assistants required to provide 1-2-1 academic and behavioural support for students with SEMH needs at this dynamic alternative provision. Are you a Teaching Assistant with previous experience working with challenging behaviours? Do you enjoy inspiring young people to overcome barriers to education?

This excellent alternative provision is looking to add an experienced Teaching Assistant to the team to support a Key Stage 4 student who has been excluded from mainstream education. This role requires a Teaching Assistant who holds an enhanced DBS and is available to start ASAP. If you are a Teaching Assistant available for a new role, apply now! 
Job Role:
  • Supporting on a 1-2-1 basis within small classes of KS4 children with SEMH needs.
  • Having a good understanding of a range of additional needs.
  • Working as a Classroom Assistant / Teaching Assistant.
  • Taking part in whole school activities and making school fun, engaging and beneficial for pupils.
  • Breaking down barriers to communication and managing behaviours.
