English Teacher – SEMH
This small, award-winning alternative provision is currently recruiting for a qualified English Teacher to join an established team of teachers and support staff. This school has been widely recognised for the positive impact that it has had on the lies of young people and is looking for an English Teacher who is passionate bout their subject, and who can inspire a love for learning.

As an English Teacher at this school, you will be teaching small classes of no more that 8 students who have a range of SEMH needs. Excellent communication and behaviour management skills are essential for this role. Leadership is committed to providing students with the support that they require to reengage with education and discover a love for learning. You will be given the autonomy to tailor your lessons and the English curriculum to suit the needs and abilities of individual students and will receive excellent support in managing the classroom from an experienced team of Teaching Assistants to manage classroom behaviours. This role requires a QTS English Teacher and is not suitable for an ECT.

Job Role:

• Teaching English to KS3 & KS4 students
• Tailoring lessons to suit needs of individual students.
• Making lessons engaging, interactive and informative.
• Supporting children with special educational needs in their studies.
