Class Teacher – SEMH Secondary
Are you a versatile teacher who enjoys inspiring reluctant learners? Do you have previous experience teaching students who have struggled to engage? This dynamic secondary SEMH school is looking for a Class Teacher to teach a variety of subjects to Key Stage 3 and 4 students who have been temporarily or permanently excluded from mainstream education.

Leadership at this school is fantastic, the headteacher leads by example, and staff are invested in supporting students to discover a love for learning. As a Class Teacher you will be teaching a small class of no more than 6 students, who have been temporarily excluded from mainstream education. This role requires a QTS teacher who is passionate about breaking down academic and social barriers, and inspiring young people. Job Role:

• Teaching a small class of children aged 11 – 16 with SEMH needs.
• Planning and delivering lessons to meet the need of individual children.
• Liaising with the Deputy Headteacher and TA’s to ensure children are supported appropriately.
• Making school a nurturing, welcoming and safe place for students.
• Helping young people to break down academic and social barriers.
