Teaching Assistant – Mainstream School – Redditch
Do you have experience as a Teaching Assistant providing 1-2-1 support for children with special educational needs? Are you looking for a new role starting immediately? This excellent secondary school requires a Teaching Assistant to provide 1-2-1 support for a student with moderate learning difficulties. As a Teaching Assistant you will be providing in class support for this student, helping them to access education and discover a love for learning.

This role requires a Teaching Assistant who enjoy breaking down barriers to education and has previous experience supporting children with additional needs. Ideally you will be a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant, who has previously worked with Key Stages 3 and 4.

Job Role:

• Supporting a Key Stage 4 student on a 1-2-1 basis.
• Having a good understanding of Special Educational Needs.
• Working as a Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant.
• Taking part in whole school activities and making school fun, engaging and nurturing.
• Breaking down barriers to communication and managing behaviours.
