Deputy Headteacher – Curriculum – Special School - Interim or Permanent
Are you a Deputy Headteacher or tenured Assistant headteacher who has experience planning and developing the curriculum within special educational needs schools? This school requires a Deputy Headteacher to join the SLT and take responsibility for curriculum development. This excellent special school caters for the needs of students with Autism and moderate learning difficulties.
As a Deputy Headteacher you will be joining an established SLT who are committed to making a difference. Staff retention is excellent, and students are happy. Previous experience as a Deputy Headteacher or AHT is required for this role, ideally within a SEND setting. School has excellent facilities and is well recognised for delivering an outstanding education for young people with special educational needs.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a middle or senior leadership capacity within a school, ideally as an Assistant Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher
- Qualified Teaching Status
- Excellent organisational skills and data management
- Strong person management skills, managing a large team of teaching and support staff
- Previous responsibilities surrounding quality of education and curriculum
- Hold a valid in date DBS, or be willing to apply for a new one
- Immediate availability to start a new role as Assistant Headteacher
