Behaviour Mentor - SEMH School
Behaviour Mentor required to provide 1-2-1 support for a Key Stage 4 student with SEMH needs. This school require a communicative, dynamic, and compassionate Behaviour Mentor who can inspire and motivate a student who has faced both social and academic barriers. Experience working with young people and challenging behaviours is essential for this role as you will be working with this student on a 1-2-1 basis throughout the day.

As a Behaviour Mentor at this school, you will join an experienced team of pastoral and teaching staff, who are dedicated to giving every child a second chance. This role requires a Behaviour Mentor who can break down barriers to communication and act as a positive role model for a student with SEMH needs. This is a long-term opportunity to work with a supportive and welcoming team within an excellent alternative provision setting.
Job Role:

• Supporting challenging behaviours on a 1-2-1 basis
• Working as a Behaviour Mentor / Teaching Assistant
• Acting as a positive role model for students
• Delivering 1-2-1 intervention sessions focused on communication and behaviours
• Helping students to reengage with education
