Special Needs Teacher

Special Needs Teacher required to teach small classes of Key Stage 4 students with a range of complex learning needs. Are you a Special Needs Teacher who has experience working with Autism, Complex Learning Needs, and communication impairment? Do you love making a difference? You will be joining an experienced team of specialist staff who’s aim is to make every day special for the children that they support.

As a Special Needs Teacher you will be responsible for teaching a small class that is a mix of Key Stage  4 students , who have a variety of Special Educational Needs, the  most common of which is Autism. You will receive outstanding support form a dedicated team of Teaching Assistants who will help you to deliver fun, engaging and valuable lessons for students. This wonderful school require a Special Needs Teacher who is passionate about helping every child get the most out of education and wants to make a difference.
Job Role:

• Teaching small classes of Key Stage 4 Students with Special Educational Needs.
• Planning and delivering lessons to meet the need of individual students.
• Liaising with the SENCO and TA’s to ensure children are supported appropriately.
• Making school a nurturing, welcoming and safe place for students.
• Helping young people to break down academic and social barriers.
