The Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with teacher to boost attainment and improve engagement in lessons. This is a varied role that will see you delivering booster sessions, providing 1-2-1 classroom support, and supporting in interventions. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant you will have the opportunity to develop your understanding of school life and, develop skills that are essential for your teacher training. 
 
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate who is exploring a career in teaching.  This school is happy to consider graduates from all backgrounds, however a degree in core subjects (Maths, English, Science or Humanities) is desirable. A passion for education and supporting student to achieve their full potential is essential for this role. Previous experience supporting young people is a professional or voluntary capacity is also desirable, however not essential.
