Contract: Temporary to Permanent Opportunities
Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of a leading haulage company in Tamworth for experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure ongoing work with a well-established business, offering competitive pay and excellent prospects for temp-to-perm positions.
The Role:
- Class 1 trunking work to supermarket RDCs.
• Driving curtainside vehicles – no handball required.
• Regular shifts with plenty of overtime available.
• Average 50 hours per week.
• Flexible shift patterns to suit your lifestyle.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Minimum 12 months’ HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid CPC & Digi Tacho card.
• A professional, reliable, and safety-focused approach.
Salary (PAYE):
- £15.36 per hour – Monday to Friday
• £16.65 per hour – Saturday
• £17.75 per hour – Sunday
(Holiday pay accrued on top of hourly rate at standard rate)
