Pay - £36ph 
 (ACOT) Service at London Borough of Croydon is seeking an experienced locum Occupational Therapist to join our Major Adaptations Unit. 
 
The role will mainly involve: 

• 
  Undertaking home visits to complete assessments/follow up on recommendations made by Occupational Therapy staff in the locality teams, the successful candidate will need to be able to make recommendations/arrange provision for major adaptations and complex equipment. Including preparing sketches, reading plans and providing detailed specifications for major works, liaising with relevant partner agencies, teams and contractors and seeing the adaptations to completion.
  • Knowledge and experience of specialist equipment provision, major adaptations, manual handling of people and relevant equipment is essential as well as up to date moving and handling skills and knowledge of relevant legislation in Social Care and Health.
