💰 Pay: £95.00-£115.00 per day

As a 1:1 ASD Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a specific student, implementing tailored strategies to support their learning, communication, and social development. You will play a key role in ensuring they feel safe, confident, and engaged in their education.

We are looking for an individual with:
✔️ Experience working with children with ASD, either in a school or specialist setting.
✔️ Strong communication and relationship-building skills to support student engagement.
✔️ Patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet the needs of the individual child.
✔️ A commitment to fostering inclusion and creating a positive learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Providing 1:1 support to a student with ASD, implementing strategies to aid their learning and social interaction.
🔹 Assisting with communication and sensory needs, using appropriate techniques to support engagement.
🔹 Encouraging independence and confidence in the classroom.
🔹 Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to follow and adapt learning plans.
🔹 Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being through tailored interventions.
