Role Overview - Position: Nursery Teacher
- Salary: M1 - M4 (Dependent on Experience)
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent early years teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Be passionate about early childhood development and learning through play
- Be confident in delivering the EYFS curriculum, ensuring children make progress in all areas
- Have a creative and engaging teaching approach to inspire young learners
- Be committed to building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Have a positive and nurturing approach, fostering independence and curiosity in young children
Your Responsibilities - Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons following the EYFS curriculum
- Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity
- Support children in developing key communication, social, and early literacy and numeracy skills
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and parents to ensure every child’s individual needs are met
- Assess and monitor children’s progress, providing feedback and adapting teaching where necessary
- Promote a safe, happy, and structured learning environment for all children
