Early Years Educator to join a welcoming
mainstream primary school in Croydon for the
summer term. This
part-time position is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early childhood development and supporting young learners at the start of their educational journey.
Location: Croydon
Start Date: Summer Term
Contract: Part-Time, 2-3 days a week
Interview Date: ASAP
Salary: £105.00 - £110.00 per day (dependent on experience)
About the Role: - Support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) within a mainstream primary school setting.
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and early learning.
- Observe and assess children’s development, maintaining clear and accurate records.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to meet the needs of individual pupils.
- Ensure a safe, stimulating, and well-organised learning space.
Requirements: - Hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification or an equivalent relevant degree (essential).
- Experience working with young children in a school or early years setting.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development principles.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A warm, patient, and nurturing approach to working with children.
- Ability to adapt and respond to the needs of individual learners.
