Role Overview:- Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
- Location: Quidenham
- Interview Date: Immediate
- Contract: Full-Time / Term Time
- Salary: £103 – £115 per day (dependent on experience)
About the Role: This specialist setting provides tailored education and care to children with autism, communication needs, sensory processing difficulties, and other complex learning needs. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils both in the classroom and during therapeutic and enrichment activities, helping them to achieve their full potential.
What We’re Looking For:- Experience supporting pupils with SEN, especially ASD, SLD, or SEMH
- A caring, patient, and flexible approach to support and behaviour management
- Confidence in delivering 1:1 and small-group interventions
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- A commitment to inclusive education and building strong, trusting relationships with pupils
Your Responsibilities Will Include:- Supporting the individual learning and emotional needs of pupils with complex needs
- Implementing EHCP targets and therapeutic support strategies
- Encouraging pupil independence, self-esteem, and social skills
- Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff
- Contributing to a calm, safe, and structured learning environment
