Job Description
Pertemps Education is seeking a Key Stage 1 or Lower Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to join a warm and inclusive primary school in Hounslow for September and beyond. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed teacher to inspire young learners and contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking school community.
Pay: M1 – UPS3 (Dependent on Experience)
Location: Hounslow
Start Date: September

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the KS1 or lower KS2 curriculum
- Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment where pupils feel confident to learn and explore
- Support children’s development in literacy, numeracy, and wider subject areas
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils with SEN, EAL, and a range of learning styles
- Track and assess pupil progress using a range of formative and summative assessment methods
- Build strong partnerships with colleagues, support staff, and parents
- Participate actively in school life, including meetings, planning sessions, and professional development
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching in KS1 or Lower KS2, with strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Excellent classroom management and lesson planning skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, nurturing attitude and a genuine passion for teaching
