Job Description
Pertemps Education is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Lower Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a friendly and inclusive mainstream primary school in Acton this September. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire pupils in Years 3 or 4 and become part of a supportive and forward-thinking school team. The position is offered as temporary to permanent or permanent for the right candidate.
Pay: M1 – UPS3 (Dependent on Experience)
Location: Acton
Start Date: September
Contract: Temp to Perm or Permanent

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the Lower KS2 curriculum
- Create a supportive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where all pupils feel valued
- Promote positive behaviour and a strong classroom culture
- Adapt teaching approaches to support children with SEN, EAL, and a range of learning styles
- Assess and track pupil progress, using data to inform planning and interventions
- Build positive relationships with colleagues, pupils, and parent
- Take an active role in school life, including staff meetings, planning, and development opportunities
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching in Lower Key Stage 2 (Year 3 or 4)
- Excellent classroom management and organisation skills
- A reflective and enthusiastic teaching style, with a passion for helping pupils thrive
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
