We are seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic and dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to work with pupils from the ages of 4-11 with a range of special needs.

Responsibilities - Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs (SEN).
- Help manage classroom behavior, using positive reinforcement techniques to promote good conduct and participation.
- Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive learning environment that caters to students with a variety of learning difficulties or disabilities, such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, or physical impairments.
- Adapt learning materials and strategies to meet the individual needs of SEN students, ensuring lessons are accessible and engaging.
Qualifications and Skills - Experience with children with special educational needs in a school or similar setting
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build strong relationships with children and staff
- An understanding of SEN conditions such as autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, or sensory impairments
- Basic understanding of safeguarding and child protection
