Behaviour Mentor- Camden – Immediate Start
Pertemps Education is seeking a dedicated and proactive Behaviour Mentor to join a primary school in Camden. In this role, you will work closely with students who require additional behavioural support, helping them develop positive habits and emotional resilience. Your role will be crucial in supporting students to overcome behavioural challenges and ensuring they can thrive in the school environment.

Location: Camden
Pay: £92-£100 per day
Start Date: November
Interview Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support to students with behavioural challenges.

Implement behaviour management strategies and positive reinforcement to encourage good conduct and participation.

Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to create individual behaviour plans that meet the specific needs of students.

Promote the social, emotional, and academic development of students, fostering a positive attitude towards learning.

Monitor and assess the progress of students, regularly reporting updates to staff and parents.

Assist in maintaining a calm, safe, and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience working with children with behavioural difficulties, ideally in a school setting.

Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies.

Patience, empathy, and the ability to build trust and rapport with students.

Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.

Excellent communication skills to work effectively with staff, parents, and external agencies.
