Higher Level Teaching Assistant We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our vibrant primary school community in Hackney. As a HLTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing the educational experience of our students, working closely with teachers and other staff to help every child reach their potential. Pay: £100 - £120 per day

Key Responsibilities: - Plan, deliver, and assess structured lessons under the guidance of class teachers. Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups to reinforce learning.
- Oversee classroom activities in the absence of the teacher, ensuring a safe, orderly, and engaging learning environment.
- Work with students with additional needs, offering tailored assistance to enable full participation and progress.
- Assist with evaluating student performance, helping to record and monitor progress, and reporting back to the teacher.
- Provide pastoral care to students, helping them build confidence, social skills, and a love for learning.
Requirements: - HLTA qualification or equivalent, with GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths. A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification may be considered.
- Previous experience as a teaching assistant, ideally with experience working as an HLTA or in a similar higher-level support role within a primary school setting.
- Strong understanding of primary curriculum; excellent communication skills; and the ability to engage and motivate young learners.
- A passion for education and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and adapt to varying needs within the classroom.
