Job Description
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive team at a school in Hackney. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development, working alongside teachers to deliver high-quality education within a safe and engaging learning environment.
Pay: £90-£105 per day
Location: Hackney
Start Date: November
Interview Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging, accessible lessons across a range of subjects.
- Provide tailored one-on-one and small group support to help students achieve their learning goals.
- Support the social and emotional development of students, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Help prepare and organise classroom resources and materials to meet diverse student needs.
- Contribute to the overall safety, well-being, and academic progress of students under your care.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to create an environment where all students feel supported and valued.
Requirements:
- A Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably within primary schools.
- A genuine passion for education, with a commitment to promoting student achievement and well-being.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, enabling you to manage tasks efficiently and build positive relationships with students and staff.
- An understanding of the challenges faced by students with additional learning or social needs is highly desirable.
