About the Role - Role: SEN Teacher (Primary or Secondary)
- Salary: £170.00 - £250.00 per day plus SEN Allowance
The ideal candidate will have: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and significant experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN).
- A strong understanding of various SEN needs, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
- The ability to create a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environment tailored to individual needs.
- Excellent skills in communication, behaviour management, and differentiation.
- A commitment to helping all students achieve their potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities - Plan and deliver personalised lessons that meet the needs of SEN learners in line with their Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Regularly assess, track, and report on students’ development to ensure tailored support is effective.
- Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes confidence and independence.
- Engage with parents and carers to maintain strong communication and partnership in supporting student needs.
