SEN Teaching Assistant – Enfield – Immediate Start Pertemps Education is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Enfield. Location: Enfield
Pay: £90-£100 per day
Start Date: October

Key Responsibilities: - Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN.
- Assist in managing classroom behavior using positive reinforcement to encourage engagement and good conduct.
- Collaborate with the class teacher to create an inclusive environment tailored to students with diverse needs, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, or physical impairments.
- Adapt learning materials and teaching strategies to meet individual needs, ensuring lessons are accessible and engaging for all students.
Qualifications and Skills: - Experience working with children with special educational needs in a school or similar setting.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff.
- A solid understanding of SEN conditions such as autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, or sensory impairments.
- Basic knowledge of safeguarding and child protection protocols.
