A wonderful school in Hayes are looking for a qualified HLTA to come in to start ASAP. The position would be helping out with and often leading the class alongside other Teaching Assistants.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team at a vibrant and diverse primary school in Hayes. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting classroom teachers and ensuring the smooth running of the school.
Responsibilities:

• Provide support to teachers in planning, delivering and assessing lessons
• Lead small group interventions and support students with additional needs
• Manage behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
• Support the development of literacy and numeracy skills
• Assist with the preparation of learning resources
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the holistic development of all students

Requirements:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent
• Experience working in a primary school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to promoting the welfare of children
• A positive and proactive attitude towards supporting student learning and development
