Location: Hammersmith, London
Daily Rate: £95 - £105

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Hammersmith. The successful candidate will provide support to children with special educational needs, helping them to thrive in their learning environment and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored support to students with SEN.
- Provide one-on-one and group support to enhance learning and engagement.
- Help create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Monitor and track student progress and report back to the teacher.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members, parents, and external agencies as required.
- Support students during activities, both in and out of the classroom.
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with SEN students, is essential.
- Strong understanding of various special educational needs and strategies for supporting learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to be patient, empathetic, and encouraging.
- Relevant qualifications (such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools) are a plus.
- Competitive daily rate of £95 - £105+.
