Care and Support Team
Rate: up to £32 per hour
 
We are recruiting for motivated qualified social worker to join our busy team. This role is with one of the UK’s highest performing local authorities, serving as one of the best places to live and work in.
 
This is a qualified social worker role requiring you to be SWE registered and to have relevant experience within adults services.
 
This role will provide crucial support to two newly formed teams tasked with managing our most vulnerable residents:

• One team will oversee repairs, ensuring adjustments are made and repairs are satisfactory.
• The second team will conduct Tenancy Housing reviews to gather extensive information on household vulnerabilities. Responsibilities:
• Support case escalation and provide guidance on referrals and social care issues. • Offer expertise on social service challenges to newly formed teams.
• Ensure reasonable adjustments are made to meet residents' complex needs, upholding safety, and safeguarding standards.

As a Social Worker, you'll provide expertise and guidance, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and working closely with stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• Deliver exceptional social care to vulnerable residents and supporting teams.
• Knowledge of relevant Social Care legislation (e.g., Care Act).
• Identify risks, implement protection measures, and coordinate safeguarding efforts.
• Meet performance indicators and maintain high practice standards.
• Ability to gather and analyse relevant information objectively.
