Children’s Senior Social Worker – Birmingham
Assessment and Short Intervention Team
Rate: up to £30.57 per hour
 
We are recruiting for motivated qualified social worker to join our busy team. This role is with one of the UK’s highest performing local authorities, serving as one of the best places to live and work in.
 
This is a qualified role requiring you to be SWE registered and have relevant experience within children’s services.

The role is in a busy Assessment and Short term intervention team, we have 5 week pro rata duty and case loads sit at around 25-30 anything from 6-10 assessments including S17 and S47's.
 
Expectations are all work is completed within the duty cycle and assessments are completed within 20 days
 
All statutory visits are expected to be completed within timescales Supervision is every 4 weeks
 
The team is a stable and strong team with a permanent Team Manager and Permanent Senior Practitioner
 
BCT use Eclipse system so experience using this system would be bonus but not essential as you will be offered full training as part of your induction
 
You will be working for the South of the City based at Lifford House
 
We offer hybrid working 2 days in the office and then 5 days during duty week
