Adult’s Social Worker – Bristol

Rate: up to £32 per hour
 
We are recruiting for motivated qualified social worker to join our busy team. This role is with one of the UK’s highest performing local authorities, serving as one of the best places to live and work in.
 
This is a qualified role requiring you to be SWE registered and have relevant experience within adult’s services.
 
The social worker will assess the needs of service users and carers, will plan, implement, review and evaluate outcomes for and with individuals.
 
The social worker will ensure the principals of choice and control are used in supporting people to make their own decisions about the way they organise their support and how to manage the risks involved.
 
Work is relatively short-term, the role is primarily safeguarding.
 
Required:

• Strong Safeguarding skills
• Strong assessment skills
• Experience of assessing under the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005
• Experience of working with LAS (Adult Social Care database)
• Car driver will access to own transport.

 
This is a city wide role so there are a variety of office bases, the candidates will need to be able to travel city wide to assess from the various intermediate care provisions or homes as required.
