We are recruiting for motivated qualified social worker to join our busy team. This role is with one of the UK’s highest performing local authorities, serving as one of the best places to live and work in.
 
This is a qualified role requiring you to be SWE registered and have relevant experience within adult services.
 
This role is based in Forest of Dean – you will have to be available for visits in FOD every day, and will work from the office 3 days a week – you will need to complete safeguarding front door HUB work.
 
In recognition of the vital contribution you make, this client offers:
 

• £35 per hour pay rate
• £150 Accommodation / mileage weekly allowance - receipts are required
• Capped caseloads at 25;
• Guaranteed minimum 6-month placement;
• Remote / agile working: Localities - first 2 weeks in the office for a robust induction; thereafter  3 days per week in Forest office to undertake visits / meetings / supervision
• Dedicated support with regular supervision and guidance from line management.

 
Our Social Workers must be able to listen hard to the people of Gloucestershire, to understand what really matters and to connect them to resources that help them continue with their chosen life, either with support or independently. You will also be working with individuals to help them to regain control of their lives in a crisis. We use the Three Conversation approach, a model that re-emphasises focus on people, their strengths and the networks and community around them.
