SEMH TA to join their team and make a real difference in the lives of young learners.
Role Overview:- Position: SEMH Teaching Assistant (TA)
- Location: Camden
- Interview Date: Immediate
- Contract: Temporary
- Salary: £103 - £110 per day (dependent on experience)
About the Role: As an
SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEMH needs.
- Assist in implementing behaviour management strategies and emotional regulation techniques.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
- Encourage positive social interactions and help students develop confidence and independence.
- Adapt learning materials and activities to meet individual needs.
About You: - Experience working with children with SEMH needs, ASD, ADHD, or challenging behaviours (desirable but not essential).
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships and create a nurturing learning environment.
