Year 3/4 class, providing vital one-to-one and small group support to help students thrive both academically and emotionally.
Position Overview:- Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
- Location: Walthamstow, East London
- Year Group: Year 3/4
- Start: Immediate interviews available
- Contract: Full-Time / Long-Term
- Pay: £102 - £110 per day (dependent on experience)
What We’re Looking For: We’re seeking someone who:
- Has experience working with children with SEND, including autism, speech and language needs, or other complex learning difficulties.
- Shows empathy, patience, and strong communication skills.
- Can support students both one-on-one and in small groups to aid learning and promote engagement.
- Works well as part of a team alongside teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals.
- Is proactive, positive, and committed to nurturing each child’s confidence and independence.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide tailored support to individual pupils, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
- Implement personalised learning plans and adapt activities to meet varying needs.
- Promote social interaction, emotional well-being, and positive behaviour within the classroom.
- Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Contribute to the wider school community with a collaborative and enthusiastic approach.
