A 'Good' primary school in Handsworth is looking for a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to provide essential support for pupils with Autism and ADHD. The role involves delivering 1:1 and small group interventions, ensuring that each pupil receives personalized attention tailored to their specific needs.
The ideal candidate will work closely with pupils to help them navigate the curriculum and develop their social and emotional skills. This will involve adjusting teaching methods to suit individual learning styles, assisting with classroom tasks, and helping pupils overcome challenges that may affect their learning.
