The Role:
This is a rewarding opportunity for a graduate to provide essential support to students with Autism and Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties. As an SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and the SEN department to deliver tailored interventions, foster positive behaviour, and ensure every student feels supported and valued in their learning journey.
 
Responsibilities include assisting in lessons, managing small group or one-to-one support sessions, and helping to create an inclusive classroom environment. This is a varied role that will offer you experience in both academic and pastoral care, preparing you for a career in education or related fields.
 
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be a graduate with a passion for working with young people and a genuine interest in supporting students with special educational needs. Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role. Previous experience working with children or young adults with SEN is advantageous but not required.
