The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work alongside class teachers to provide targeted support to pupils across different year groups. You will help with classroom activities, assist in delivering interventions, and offer one-to-one support where needed. You’ll also help prepare resources and create a positive learning environment that enables all students to achieve their potential.
 
The Candidate:
You should hold a degree in any subject and have a strong interest in education. Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with young people are essential. Previous experience in schools or working with children is advantageous but not required.
 
Requirements

• Degree – A 2:2 or higher in any subject.
• Communication – Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
• Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
• Desire to work in education/with children – A genuine interest in supporting young people and progressing into teaching.
• Experience working with children – Any relevant experience such as tutoring, mentoring, or volunteering.
