The Role: You’ll provide high-quality HLTA support across departments, delivering planned learning, leading targeted intervention groups, and providing short-term class cover (including PPA and absence). You’ll adapt materials, track pupil progress, and collaborate with teachers and pastoral teams to remove barriers to learning. You’ll model strong behaviour routines and contribute to a consistent, calm classroom climate.
The Candidate: You’re an organised, confident practitioner who can step up to whole-class delivery when required. You communicate clearly, build effective relationships with pupils and staff, and use data to inform next steps. You’re proactive, reliable, and committed to inclusion and high standards.
Requirements- Degree or HLTA status (or equivalent) – strong academic background.
- Communication – Clear, confident classroom and written communication.
- Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
- Desire to work in education/with children – Commitment to pupil progress and safeguarding.
- Experience working with children – Prior classroom/cover or intervention experience is desirable but not essential.
