What you’ll do: Work alongside the SENCo and class teacher to provide tailored support for pupils with Autism and ADHD. You’ll scaffold tasks into clear steps, use visual timetables and routines, run short, purposeful group activities, and help pupils regulate and re-engage. You’ll note quick wins, share next steps, and keep strategies consistent between home and school.
Who you are: A patient, reliable graduate who communicates clearly and builds trust quickly. You follow support plans, keep boundaries fair and firm, and focus on small, measurable gains that build confidence and independence.
Requirements- Degree – 2:2 or above in any subject.
- Communication – Clear, confident verbal and written skills.
- Enhanced DBS – Held already or willingness to obtain.
- Desire to work in education/with children – Genuine interest in SEN, behaviour support and pupil wellbeing.
- Experience working with children – Any relevant experience (SEN support, mentoring, tutoring, volunteering) is desirable but not essential.
