A dedicated Year 6 Graduate Teaching Assistant is required for an 'Outstanding' primary school in Central Birmingham. This role focuses on providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils in KS2, specifically for SATs exam preparation.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted academic assistance to Year 6 pupils in preparation for SATs exams.
- Provide individualised support to students, helping them understand challenging concepts and improve their academic performance.
- Conduct small group sessions, focusing on key areas of the SATs curriculum.
- Assist teachers in planning and implementing effective revision strategies.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting support as necessary.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment to motivate students.
