Pay:                                  £71 - £81 per day
Contract:                          September 2024 – July 2025
Location:                          Wolverhampton
Brief:                                1:1 and small group support in KS2
 
The Role
As a KS2 Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the teaching staff and pupils across various classes, within KS2. Working closely with the experienced teachers, you will assist in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons, tailored to meet the individual needs of the schools’ diverse pupils. Your key responsibilities will include:
 
  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to students who may need additional help with their learning.
  • Assisting in the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources.
  • Supporting classroom management and ensuring a safe and positive learning environment.
  • Helping to conduct assessments and providing valuable feedback on student progress.
  • Contributing to extracurricular activities and school events that enrich the students' educational experience.
 
 
The Candidate
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any relevant field (e.g., Education, Child Development, Psychology, English, Mathematics, etc.).
  • A genuine passion for education and a desire to work with young children.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude to contribute effectively to a collaborative team environment.
  • Prior experience working with children or in a school setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
