The Graduate
The school are looking for a graduate who has a passion for education. You will need to have an English related degree (2:2 or above) with the idea of having a career in education. The key to raising attainment is to be enthusiastic about the English curriculum, instilling a love of Language and literature. Formal or informal experience working with children is desirable, but not essential.
 
The Opportunity
This role will be to support under-achieving English students, through the English national curriculum in KS3 and KS4. You will be required to work on a 1:1 and small group basis, taking the students out of the classroom and providing support and guidance to help their achievements.

The school is based in Central Birmingham, so public transport is not an issue. Any bus or train route into the city will drop you 0.2 miles away from the school. This state-of-the-art secondary school is one of the most advanced schools in Birmingham. Being graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted, they are well on their way to achieving ‘Outstanding’
