Job Title: Maths Academic Coach
Location: Central Birmingham
Pay: £72 - £82 per day
Contract: Immediate start – July 2025
Focus: 1:1 and small group focus on maths in KS3 & KS4

As a Maths Graduate Academic Coach, you will play a crucial role in supporting our students' academic journey in the field of mathematics. You will work closely with both individual students and small groups to provide targeted assistance, helping them develop a solid understanding of mathematical concepts and improve their overall performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Conducting one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions with students to reinforce their understanding of mathematical principles.
- Assisting classroom teachers in planning and delivering engaging maths lessons.
- Identifying students who require additional support and devising personalised learning plans.
- Monitoring and tracking students' progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
- Organizing and participating in extracurricular maths activities and workshops.
- Collaborating with the maths department to develop teaching materials and resources.
- Instilling confidence and a positive attitude towards mathematics in students.
Requirements:- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Strong knowledge and passion for mathematics, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with students, teachers, and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping students achieve their academic goals.
- Previous experience in tutoring or working with young learners is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment.
