The Graduate:
To be successful in this KS2 Graduate Teaching Assistant Role, you will have…

• At least a 2:2 bachelor’s degree.
• Passion for supporting the learning and development of KS2 pupils.
• Understanding of the importance of following safeguarding procedures.
• Natural ability to form positive connections with young leaners.
• Previous experience of working alongside pupils, or in a school setting, is beneficial but not mandatory.

 
The Role

• Assisting teaching staff in all aspects of classroom teaching.
• Monitoring pupil progress and identifying any additional support needs.
• Providing 1:1 and small group interventions to under-achieving pupils to raise their progress levels as they approach their SAT examinations.
• Working in close collaboration with staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Assisting in extracurricular activities to extend pupils’ passion for education beyond the classroom.
