- At least a 2:2 bachelor’s degree.
- Passion for supporting the learning and development of KS2 pupils.
- Understanding of the importance of following safeguarding procedures.
- Natural ability to form positive connections with young leaners.
- Previous experience of working alongside pupils, or in a school setting, is beneficial but not mandatory.
The Role- Assisting teaching staff in all aspects of classroom teaching.
- Monitoring pupil progress and identifying any additional support needs.
- Providing 1:1 and small group interventions to under-achieving pupils to raise their progress levels as they approach their SAT examinations.
- Working in close collaboration with staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Assisting in extracurricular activities to extend pupils’ passion for education beyond the classroom.
