Are you a psychology graduate looking to gain experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Could you support students with SEN in a mainstream secondary school?
We’re looking for a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join an outstanding secondary school in Central Birmingham. You’ll work across KS3 and KS4, providing support to students with a range of SEN requirements, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their best.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the SEN team and teachers, ensuring each student receives the right support for their needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate to gain valuable experience while making a difference in the lives of young people.
What you’ll do:
- Support students with SEN across KS3 and KS4
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons and adapting resources for students
- Work 1:1 and with small groups to provide targeted support
- Help create an inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
- A psychology degree
- A strong interest in SEN and supporting young people
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
