What You’ll Do:

• Provide expert legal advice on criminal litigation, including complex and politically sensitive matters.
• Represent clients in court and meetings, offering proactive and solution-focused guidance.
• Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring the highest professional standards and compliance with Lexcel requirements.
• Mentor and train junior lawyers, contributing to the development of the team.
• Build strong relationships with public sector clients, including local authorities, housing organizations, and schools.

 
What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified solicitor, barrister, or equivalent with significant post-qualification experience in criminal litigation.
• Experience advising senior officers and members, especially on complex legal matters.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing others.
• A commitment to delivering excellent client care and maintaining high standards in legal work.
