HGV Maintenance Controller

My client, a market leader within their field an great place to work certified is looking for a passionate and skilled worker who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.&nbsp; <br />With time served experience in an HGV, truck position with good technical/engineering aptitude, this could be the next step for you !<br />Previous experience with HGV, either being an ex technician or having worked in similar service advisor roles previously, is essential - breakdowns will be a major part of this role, so experience will be required.&nbsp; Heavily involved in ensuring that the site is adhering to Health &amp; Safety regulations, with involvement with some facilities management.<br /> Being great at customer care with excellent communication skills and great administrative skills are requirements for this role.<br /><br /><br /><strong>Key Responsibilities :<br /></strong><ul><li>Diligently review maintenance repair cost estimates, raise and authorise purchase orders to external vendors</li><li>Support with maintenance issues involving both customers and vendors</li><li>Liaise with OEM technical service depts and support with in-depth fault diagnosis</li><li>Assist with arranging and managing 3rd party work on premises and externally</li><li>Assist with parts sourcing, procurement and ordering</li><li>Analyse and identify any warranty situations and review date for fleet maintenance trends</li><li>Key Account Management, from booking scheduled maintenance, dealing with breakdowns, and raising damage recharges</li></ul><br /><strong>Key Skills :<br /></strong><ul><li>Previous experience with HGV - either an ex Technician or Service Advisor is a MUST</li><li>Key experience within breakdowns is necessary for this role</li><li>Experience within Health &amp; Safety and Facilities management would be advantageous</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Computer literate with great administrative skills is necessary</li><li>Being able to work alone and within a team</li></ul><br />If you feel that you have the right experience and want to be employed by a Market Leader, APPLY Today !<br />Please either call 01509 213000, ask for Michelle / Submit your CV / Email to michelle.alburey@pertemps.co.uk<br /><br />
