Early Years Quality Improvement Officer - Southwark

Job Title: Early Years Quality Improvement Officer

Working Hours: Full time, Hybrid
Rate: £32+
 
Pertemps Social Care are currently recruiting for an experienced Early Years Quality Improvement Officer to join a busy team in Southwark, based within the team.
 
Responsibilities:

• To identify and provide specialist support and challenge to Private Voluntary and Independent (PVI) early years settings registered with Ofsted on the Early Years Register judged as or at risk of being judged as ‘Requires Improvement’ or ‘Inadequate’, with a focus on securing improvement at their next Ofsted inspection.
• To provide advice, training, challenge and support to ALL PVI early years settings and childminding practitioners ensuring compliance with the Early Years Foundation Stage to develop best practice in ensuring children experience high quality, inclusive early years provision, to raise achievement and to close the gap in attainment.
• To provide advice, support and sign posting to enquirers who are interested in setting up new early years childcare provision or in changing/extending current provision to support Southwark’s Childcare Sufficiency duties.

What we are looking for in a Early Years Quality Improvement Officer:

• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK license
• Post-qualified experience
